Tracking Toronto's newest, independent, registered restaurants
"First seen" reflects when each restaurant first surfaced in our combined evidence — City permit, public-health inspection, social media — usually within a few weeks of opening, but a permit can lead actual opening by months. How we verify ›
A Portuguese bakery and rotisserie chicken counter offering dine-in, takeout delivery.
The newest Portuguese restaurant registered in Toronto, as of September 11, 2026. First seen in official City of Toronto records on September 11, 2026.
The kitchen centres on two anchors: flame-roasted Portuguese chicken, seasoned and carved to order custard tarts (natas), the signature pastry baked fresh daily. The operation relocated from its previous location in 2025 and now operates with expanded seating, a front patio rooftop dining. The Portuguese chicken is the calling card, paired with a rotating selection of traditional Portuguese pastries and prepared dishes that draw on recipes from Portugal adapted for the Toronto market.
